Bereton Montessori Nursery
and Primary School is located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. As part of
Bereton Montessori School’s 25th anniversary in September 2003, the
Management of the school decided to take a further step to achieve its
goals by further training pupils to secondary school level. Parents were
concerned about the future of their children/wards since it is without
doubt that there are not enough Secondary schools of International
standard in Rivers State and the Niger Delta sub-region. They had to
travel to other parts of Nigeria in order to get high standard secondary
schools, which they desire.
Thus, Charles Dale Memorial International School (CDMIS) the secondary
school arm of Bereton Montessori Nursery and Primary School was born.

Charles Dale Memorial International School is named after Late Mr.

greatly to education in Nigeria. Late Mr. Charles E. Dale is the father
of the School’s founder, Chief (Mrs.) Victoria O. R. Diete-Spiff. This
honour was to commemorate the 40th Memorial of his death in 2004 with
