Bereton Montessori Nursery and
Primary School aspires to provide a rich, nurturing and challenging
environment for all our pupils. We provide the staff, programs, and
environment that best enhance the growth and development of young
children. The Bereton philosophy centers on the belief that children are
special and active learners who develop best when their daily activities
and projects stem from their own needs and interests. Thus,
understanding and meeting these needs and interests is of utmost
importance to us.
We will train up and nurture the total
child to be found worthy academically, morally, spiritually and
socially.
Every pupil at
Bereton Montessori Nursery and Primary School
can develop new personal dimensions from
this special environment.
Pupils
would not lose what they are, but will be
broadened to become better citizens of the world. Viewing
pupils
as whole persons, the school is concerned
with the spirit as well as the mind and body.
The Bereton philosophy is founded on our knowledge that early childhood
development focuses on the five core areas of social, emotional,
cognitive, physical and aesthetic development of the individual child.
Combined, these form strong building blocks to make it possible for a
child to best use his/her intellectual capabilities.
Developing each child's natural curiosity and desire to learn is
achieved through a variety of fun and creative age appropriate
activities which incorporate all these stages of development. We are
dedicated to the creation of an atmosphere where each child is respected
and encouraged in a safe, well supervised and clean environment. Because
we understand what parents require and what pupils need, we are
committed to fostering a positive self-esteem through the cultivation of
skills, interests and positive social interaction. This in turn fosters
trust and provides peace of mind to parents. |
